In a significant move to mark the 125th anniversary of the Opel brand, Al-Mansour Automotive, the exclusive distributor of Opel in Egypt, has announced substantial price reductions across several of its 2024 models. These reductions encompass various popular models, including the Opel Crossland, Corsa Facelift, Mokka, and Grandland, which offer consumers more affordable options within the premium car market.

Opel Crossland Price Reduction

The Opel Crossland has seen notable price cuts in July 2024. Al-Mansour Automotive has reduced the price of the second variant, Top Line, by EGP 200,000. Previously priced at EGP 1,549,990, it is now available for EGP 1,349,990. The first variant, Elegance, is currently unavailable in the market, but its last recorded price was EGP 1,079,990.

The Crossland is equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that produces 110 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. This configuration allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.8 seconds, with a top speed of 187 km/h.

Opel Corsa Facelift Discount

The Opel Corsa Facelift has also received a price reduction. The new 2024 model, previously priced at EGP 1,299,990, is now available for EGP 1,249,990, a decrease of EGP 50,000. This model is available in the GS Line variant, featuring a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine delivering 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Corsa Facelift boasts impressive performance metrics, with fuel consumption ranging from 4.6 to 5.6 liters per 100 km and an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds. Its dimensions include a length of approximately 4 meters, a width of 1.96 meters, and a height of 1.43 meters. The vehicle is also equipped with a 309-liter trunk and a 44-liter fuel tank.

Safety features for the Corsa Facelift are comprehensive, including six airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, speed limiter, tire pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, electric parking brake, cruise control, fog lights, central locking, hill start assist, traction control system, emergency braking assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 180-degree panoramic rearview camera, and driver attention alert systems.

Opel Mokka Price Cuts

The Opel Mokka has seen a significant price drop as well. The GS Line variant, previously priced at EGP 1,749,990, is now available for EGP 1,549,990, reflecting a reduction of EGP 200,000. While not currently available, the Elegance variant had its last recorded price at EGP 1,419,990.

The Mokka comes with a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, delivering 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The car achieves a fuel efficiency of 5.9 liters per 100 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds. Its dimensions include a length of 4.15 meters, a width of 1.98 meters, a height of 1.53 meters, and a wheelbase of 2.55 meters, with a trunk capacity of 350 liters and a curb weight of 1,295 kg.

Opel Grandland Price Reductions

The most substantial reductions have been applied to the Opel Grandland. The first variant, High Line, is now priced at EGP 1,699,990, down from EGP 1,949,990, a decrease of EGP 250,000. The Top Line Plus variant has seen a reduction of EGP 225,000, now priced at EGP 1,849,990, down from EGP 2,074,990. The second variant, High Line Plus, is currently unavailable, with its last recorded price in December being EGP 1,799,990.

The Grandland features a 1.6-liter direct injection gasoline engine, producing 163 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque, and a six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h.

This model boasts a bold new design, a cabin free of harmful industrial materials, and a fully digital display. The Grandland combines sporty aesthetics with precise German engineering to create a distinctive presence on the road.
