Ramadan season is started and TV watching becomes so exciting to the majority of people because of the series’ varieties between action, drama and comedy. 

In this article, we have shed light on the most anticipated series during Ramadan season. 

1- Taht El Wessaya 

It’s already got the hype before the season begins and triggered a debate between social media activators. After the overwhelming success of her Ramadan 2021 series (Newton Cardle), Mona Zaki returns with this new series to play the role of a mother of two who works in the fish supply industry to support her family. Over the years, especially with the passing of her husband, challenges start to escalate. The series is directed by Ahmed Shaker Khodeir and written by Khaled Diab & Sherien Diab.

2- Taghyeer Gaw

Menna Shalaby comes this year with a comedy-drama series that embodies the story of a mother & daughter duo, played by Menna Shalaby and Sherine, as they deal with the mother’s alcoholism and emerging Alzheimer’s. The series is directed by Mariam Abu Ouf, and written by Mona El Shimy. Starring Eyad Nassar and Mervat Amin.

3- Rasheed 

Starring Reham Abdel Ghafour & Mohamed Mamdouh “ Rasheed” series follows the story of a couple who face trouble after one of them got arrested on their wedding night.

4- Gat Saleema

After 3 years of absence, the star Donia Samir Ghanem comes back with her comedy fantasy series to play the role of a sister who picks up a book to read for her little brother and ends up pulled into a whole new world. 

The series is directed by Islam Kahiry and co-written by Sameh Galal and Islam Khairy.

5- Kamel Al 3adad 

Starring Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama, the 15-episode series follows the story of a single mother of four who falls in love and must navigate her new relationship. The series is directed by Khaled El Halafawy and co-written by Yousr Taher and Rana Abo El Reesh.

6- Al Harsha Al Sab3a ]

Amina Khalil and Mohamed Shahin play the role of a couple who falls into the loop of routine and boredom and they navigate the hurdles that come with love.  Directed by Karim El Shennawy and written by Mariam Naoum.

6- Al Sofara

Based on a novel called Sound of Thunder, Ahmed Amin plays a tour guide who steals King Tut’s whistle, enabling him to go back in time. Upon laying his hands on this magical artifact, he embarks on a journey of changing the past to achieve all his dreams.
